National Unity Day Celebrations on 31st October 2022

The Consulate General of India, Hong Kong celebrated National Unity Day 2022 (Rashtriya Ekta Divas 2022). Honorable Consul General in her opening remarks spoke about the illustrious legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in forging a united independent India and asked all citizens to rededicate themselves to national unity. This was followed by National Unity Pledge administered by CG. All participants enthusiastically resolved to make their contributions to pursue the Unity, Integrity, and Security of India. The Indian Ethnic Dress Competition beautifully showcased India's Unity in Diversity as participants of all ages represented different states of India. The participants then joined hands to form an 'Ekta Shrinkhala' and later everyone felt united in spirit over a hot cup of UNI-TEA.
