Panel Discussion on International Financial Center (IFSC), GIFT City with ICAI HK Chapter - Oct. 11, 2022

The Consulate organised a panel discussion on International Financial Service Center (IFSC), GIFT City with ICAI HK chapter. During the event, IFSCA Executive Director Mr. Dipesh Shah gave a short presentation on the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the GIFT City, and explained various features of IFSC including the services offered, it’s competitive tax regime, regulations, banking ecosystem, capital market highlights, trading opportunities, fund management, insurance business growth, and how it has transformed into a hub for aircraft leasing, fin-tech, ancillary services and possible collaborations with Hong Kong Institutions. This was followed by a panel discussion moderated by Alok Agrawal with Vivek Mohindra from Kristal AI, Sudhir Salian from Peak re and Young Lee from Morgan Stanley.
